Baptism of Aurora! This Sunday we gather to joyfully celebrate Aurora’s arrival and to baptise her into the Christian church. Join us at 11am in the beautiful church of West Peckham, as we gather around the font that has stood in this church for centuries.
Dear Wedding couples, due to inclement and deteriorating weather in this area, we have postponed the Marriage Preparation course due to start tonight. the first session will be on Thursday 8 March. Stay warm, stay safe and see you next week.

We pray today for those in love, those off love and those in between. We remember especially those who find themselves a little bit lonelier than normal. We do not pray today for loved-up couples, exchanging overpriced flowers and foil wrapped hearts, leaking pheromones like diesel fumes at candlelit dinners. We are pretty sure, Lord, they will be OK for now. Instead we hereby dedicate this happy-crappy day to all the brave teenagers who dared to send a card (hoping in vain with every fibre of their beings for something back.) Archbishop Justin and the other five Presidents of Churches Together in England released a statement today following the killing yesterday of Father Jacques Hamel in Rouen, France. on Sunday 1 May we had our annual Rogation Walk between the parishes of Mereworth and West Peckham. Despite a forecast of rain, glorious sunshine accompanied us the whole way. As we prayed for farmers and farmworkers, for changing needs and seasons, we witnessed the changing times and seasons as the new vineyard was planted replacing the old apple trees. a glorious day. why not join us next year?
