Cream teas in the grounds of St. Lawrence’s Church (Mereworth) are one of the treats of summer sundays in our part of Kent. And sadly the summer is fading into Autumn… So this is a reminder that tomorrow is the last of the Cream Teas at Mereworth (2-5.30pm) so if you don’t want to have to wait another 11 months for the most delicious cream tea in the area, please come along tomorrow. If you have not been before it is your last chance, and if you have you will want to savour some sunshine, team and cakes or scones in the summer sun one last time.
Today we had the annual walk around the parish, beginning at Mereworth Church and finishing at West Peckham with a short service of Holy Communion.
