New Priest appointed for KingsHill

We are very pleased and excited that we can now reveal the new Priest who will be moving into KingsHill and working hard to build the church there. He will be based at KingsHill and joins the team of Pat Dickin (based in Mereworth) and David Green (from West Malling). Updates on third minister for KingsHill…

Following interviews on 13/14 November, the interview panel decided that the suitable candidate was not among those interviewed. Following a week of prayer and reflection, the conversation on what the next steps might be will resume in the week commencing 24 November. We are grateful for all those who took time out of work in order to represent their communities and the Cluster on the interview panel: Stephen Betts (Offham and West Malling), Paul Spensley (West Peckham & Mereworth), Andrew Grannick and Karen Webber (Kings Hill). The new School at Kings Hill

With the announcement of the decision on new school at Kings Hill, the church has put out this statement: “The Rochester Diocesan Board of Education is disappointed not to have been chosen by the Department of Education as the preferred sponsor for a new primary academy in Kings Hill, West Malling. The Diocese believes that it put forward a credible proposal to run a new primary academy which would have served local families and provided much need facilities on behalf of the local community.
