More details on the Lenten prayer Group

As promised, we now have details of our Lent Course which this year, will be based around the film “Les Miserables”. “Invite your friends to watch the film ahead of the course starting. Each week will focus on one of the characters in the film, and together we will reflect on our own lives as Christians following a calling to be more truly ourselves. In the past years, those attending have found the sessions to be relaxed open spaces, with great opportunities for discussion. Retreat for Lent (based around the film “les Miserables”)

The Lent Course this year will be based around the film “Les Miserables”. The course starts on Tuesday 28 February, and runs for 5 weeks every Tuesday 10am. There is a book to accompany the Lent course that will be pre-ordered for you. St Paul’s conversion

Off to the Holy Land…

We landed in Jerusalem with 41°C!! Even to me it felt a tad warm…. To be here is an extraordinary experience, and seems slightly surreal.  We got here with a little time to settle in our rooms, and then we changed into cooler clothes for dinner. After dinner, and still with 32°C, we went out for a walk through th  old city of Jerusalem.  No tour guide, just ambling through the narrow pedestrian roads. I’m so excited! I never thought this day would come when I go to the land where Jesus walked.  On Wednesday morning I leave to go to Israel, and I will be sharing my impressions, thoughts and reflections with you.  Would you like to come on this journey with me?
